This notice describes cookies and similar browser storage on the Asistone website. Rejecting analytics does not block basic site access. You can change your choice through “Cookie preferences” in the page footer.
Website storage
- Language preference (NEXT_LOCALE): a first-party functional cookie that remembers the language you choose, Turkish or English, in the site's language selector. It is not created if you do not use the selector. The website does not set a persistent expiry, so it is a session cookie; browser session restoration can affect its lifetime.
- Cookie preference (asistone-cookie-preferences): browser local storage keeps your analytics choice, notice version, and the time of the choice. It is not used for tracking; the choice can remain until you clear browser storage or a new notice version requires another choice. If storage is unavailable, the choice may be retained only on the open page.
- Theme preference (theme): if you choose “System”, “Light”, or “Dark” in the theme control in the page footer, your choice is kept in browser local storage. It is used only for appearance, is not used for tracking, and is not sent to the server; it remains until you clear your browser data. Nothing is stored if you do not use the control.
- Optional analytics (ga and _ga*): when Google Analytics is configured and you explicitly accept analytics, these cookies may be used for visit/event measurement. Google's default cookie lifetime is two years and may renew on a return visit; account settings and browser limits can change the actual lifetime. Cookie expiry is different from event-data retention in the Analytics account. Withdrawing the choice stops new measurement and removes accessible first-party Analytics cookies; browser withdrawal alone does not erase data already sent to Google.
The Google Analytics tag is not loaded before analytics acceptance.
Portal and third parties
The portal and the identity provider's login pages may use necessary session/security cookies; the login provider's own notices also apply. Cookies placed by a Shopify store on its visitors are not Asistone website cookies and are managed by that store and Shopify.
You can clear or block cookies/storage through your browser settings. Blocking functional storage can affect remembering your language, cookie, or theme choice, or signing in to the portal. See the Privacy Policy for personal-data processing and the Data Request Form for requests.
